Charlotte Medes Da Costa

Dr Charlotte Mendes da Costa qualified at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 1991 and worked in several hospitals in the London and Surrey area before completing her training in General Practice. She has been a General Practitioner for over 20 years in West London.

After becoming aware of a need to help her patients in further ways, other than the conventional medical paradigm, and increasingly concerned by the side effects of drugs, she started training in Homeopathic medicine in 1999. She gained membership of the Faculty of Homeopathy in 2003 and now provides Homeopathy within General Practice and also within her private Homeopathic practice in West London.

Dr Mendes da Costa regards conventional medicine and Homeopathic medicine as working hand in hand, and acknowledges that there are times they work well together, and that Homeopathic medicine can be used on its own, but also that for some patients conventional medicine, including drugs and surgery is the best medicine that should be offered.
